Today, the undersigned Members and Observer of the Freedom Online Coalition (FOC) have issued a Joint Statement on Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights, reaffirming their commitment to a rights-respecting, human-centric, safe, secure, trustworthy and ethical AI future grounded in human rights, accountability, and the rule of law.
The statement will be officially launched during the 2025 Internet Governance Forum in Lillestrøm, Norway, during the Open Forum session “Shaping Global AI Governance Through Multistakeholder Action” at 10.45 CEST on Wednesday, 25 June.
