Following an open call for members and the subsequent selection process, the Freedom Online Coalition is excited to confirm the new membership of Working Group 3 – “Privacy and Transparency Online”.
The FOC received an impressive number of high-quality applications from civil society, private sector, and the academic community, which were then assessed based on the applicants’ experience and expertise, while keeping in mind regional, gender and stakeholder balance for each group.
Following this process, 3 new non-governmental representatives will be joining the existing WG3 co-chairs, governmental representatives and non-governmental representatives to build upon the group’s existing work.
