Following an open call for members and the subsequent selection process, the Freedom Online Coalition is excited to confirm the new membership of Working Group 1 – “An Internet Free and Secure”.
The FOC received a number of high-quality applications, which were then assessed based on the applicants’ experience and expertise, while keeping in mind regional, gender and stakeholder balance.
Following this process, three new non-governmental representatives will be joining the existing WG1 co-chairs, governmental representatives and non-governmental representatives to build upon the group’s existing work:
- Dr. Tatiana Tropina, Senior Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law
- Vladimir Radunović, Director of e-diplomacy and cybersecurity educational and training programmes at DiploFoundation
- Vidushi Marda, Programme Officer at the Centre for Internet and Society
