The Freedom Online Coalition emphatically calls upon governments to halt measures designed, in contravention of states’ international human rights obligations, to restrict the freedoms of expression, association and peaceful assembly online, as stated in the “Tallinn Agenda”. These measures include imprisonment, harassment, physical violence, censorship, as well as illicit filtering, blocking, and monitoring of opposition voices.
